1. Introduction
Vendra ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Vendra platform accessible at vendra.app and through Telegram. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using Vendra you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account and Profile Information
When you create a Vendra account we collect your name, email address, Telegram user ID, and any other information you voluntarily provide (e.g. a store name or business description).
2.2 Store and Product Data
We store the product listings, prices, images, variants, and inventory information you enter into your Vendra store, along with order details placed by your customers.
2.3 Google Account Data
Vendra integrates with Google Sheets via the Google API. When you connect your Google account, Vendra requests access to create and manage a single Google Spreadsheet in your Google Drive for your product catalog. We request the following OAuth scopes:
- drive.file: to create and access only the specific Google Spreadsheet that Vendra generates on your behalf in your own Google Drive. We do not access any other files in your Drive.
- spreadsheets: to read and write product data (name, price, stock level, etc.) to and from that spreadsheet.
Your Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and are only used to read and write your catalog spreadsheet. We do not sell or share your Google data with third parties. We do not use Google user data for advertising or any purpose other than operating the Sheets sync feature you explicitly enabled.
Vendra's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2.4 Payment Information
We do not store full payment card numbers. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. We may retain transaction identifiers and amounts for accounting purposes.
2.5 Usage and Log Data
We automatically collect information such as IP address, browser or Telegram client type, pages visited, and timestamps when you interact with Vendra. This helps us diagnose issues and improve the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Vendra platform.
- Process orders and payments on behalf of merchants.
- Sync your product catalog with your Google Spreadsheet when you enable that feature.
- Send transactional notifications (new orders, payment confirmations) via Telegram or email.
- Respond to support requests.
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for targeted advertising.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: third parties who help us operate Vendra (e.g. cloud hosting, payment processors) under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.
- With your consent: for any other purpose you explicitly authorise.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and store data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion we remove personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate accounting purposes.
Google OAuth tokens are stored only while the integration is active. When you disconnect the Google integration, all stored tokens are immediately deleted.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; if you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@vendra.app.
7. Cookies and Tracking
Vendra uses essential cookies to maintain your login session. We may use analytics tools that set cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly.
8. Children's Privacy
Vendra is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email us at support@vendra.app. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
